Alexandria, Virginia-based audit and accounting firm Cotton and Company has won an $18.8 million contract to examine the financial statements of the Defense Department.
The Defense and Finance Accounting Service received three quotes for the labor-hour financial statement audit services contract via a competitive bidding process, the Pentagon said Monday.
The contract has a 12-month base period that runs through Dec. 31, 2017, and up to four one-year options.
DFAS obligated the contract’s full base value at the time of award from the U.S. Navy‘s fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
