The U.S. Navy has awarded Telephonics a five-year, $9.3 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering and technical services to the Naval Air Warfare Center‘s aircraft division.
The Defense Department said Thursday the company will implement and manage a program that covers hardware systems development, maintenance, training and repair services for NAWCAD’s air traffic control and landing systems unit.
Ninety percent of the work will occur in Farmingdale, New York, and the remaining 10 percent in Inigoes, Maryland, through January 2022.
DoD added the Navy will obligate funds upon issuance of each order under the contract.
