Root9B has partnered with Chiron Technology Services to deliver cyber operational training to the Defense Department under the team’s potential five-year, $50 million contract.
Root9B will provide cyber operations, incident response, threat emulation and network defense training that will work to prepare cybersecurity teams to defend against evolving cyber threats, the Colorado Springs, Colorado-based firm said Thursday.
The Mission Qualification Training provider will also offer advanced cyber operations and subject-matter expertise under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with DoD.
Mike Morris, root9B’s chief technology officer, said the company’s cyber training offering will work to meet the client’s end-to-end training mission requirements.
