The Labor Department has awarded Management Concepts a contract for classroom, virtual and online training support services to the National Veterans’ Training Institute.
Management Concepts said Tuesday it will provide professional training and administrative support to workforce development professionals and supervisors of the State Workforce Agency under the NVTI program.
The company will also train federal employees who represent the departments of Veterans Affairs, Justice, Defense and Labor and representatives from veterans’ services organizations on behalf of DOL’s employment and training service unit.
“We are delighted to partner with DOL VETS on the NVTI program and serve those organizations who serve our greater veteran community,” said Management Concepts President Stephen Maier.
“The goals of the organization are closely aligned to our own company mission – to unleash the potential of individuals, teams, and organizations – and we are excited to be a part of delivering this critical program,” Maier added.
The NVTI aims to help service members prepare for their transition to civilian life as well as offer employment and training services to veterans and their spouses.
