FedRAMP Board Approves 3 New AWS GovCloud Services; Teresa Carlson Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventAmazon Web Services has received a provisional authority-to-operate from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program‘s joint authorization board for three of the company’s GovCloud service offerings for U.S. government clients.

The board issued high baseline certifications for AWS’ Relational Database Service for MySQL, Oracle, and PostgresSQL; Amazon CloudWatch Logs; and AWS CloudTrail, the company said Friday.

“We are constantly listening to our customers and work to deliver more services to help accelerate their missions in the regions where they do business, and it is no different in the AWS GovCloud (US) Region,” said Teresa Carlson, vice president of AWS’ worldwide public sector business.

RDS is designed to help clients set up, operate and scale a relational database in the cloud.

The CloudWatch Logs service is meant to help customer agencies monitor and fix systems and applications while CloudTrail is intended to help clients record calls for accounts and send log files to the user.
