Diligent Consulting has been awarded a $1.6 million contract to support the implementation of a U.S. Air Force module within the U.S. Army‘s existing web-based Information Security Systems Program Application.
The company said Friday it will provide engineering, logistics and technical support services for the Communications Secure and Controlled Cryptographic Items Accountability and Tracking Tool program.
The module will work to deliver logistics information and life cycle documentation history for the Air Force’s COMSEC/CCI asset visibility and accountability efforts by software model and serial number.
“Diligent is thrilled to take on a new role with our long time customer the Air Force Cryptologic Cyber Systems Division,” said Rick Riney, Diligent’s chief operating officer.
“Under this contract, we will support the AF priority of safe physical transfer of logistics data without disruption of current operations or compromise of sensitive and/or classified information,” he added.
The contract was awarded through the Air Force’s Network-Centric Solutions-2 Application Services Small Business indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle.
