OGSystems, Narrative Science Partner on New Location-Based Intell Offering; Omar Balkissoon Comments

OGSystems and natural language generation technology provider Narrative Science have teamed up to develop a new location-based intelligence platform offering for enterprise customers.

The BlueGlass platform integrates remote sensing, big data and cognitive analytics features to help clients gain situational insights in real time through anomaly alerting and activity reports about potential risks, OGSystems said Wednesday.

Omar Balkissoon, CEO and co-founder of OGSystems, said the partnership aims to provide an “integrated platform for patterns of life and situational awareness to support risk and threat assessments and security operations.”

Balkissoon added that Narrative Science’s contribution to the BlueGlass development combines both companies’ technologies to “tell the story depicted in the data.”

Narrative Science’s Quill intelligent system works to examine data from disparate sources and analyze key points for the end user.
