NCI has received a $43 million task order to support the electronic and customer-focused architecture of the Department of Homeland Security’s Citizenship and Immigration Services through agile information technology development efforts.
The company said Tuesday its development and operations teams will work with other companies and federal employees to help USCIS implement agile and lean processes such as Scrum under the Flexible Agile Development Services II task order.
Suzanne Liscouski, a vice president at NCI, said the company’s technical staff and team will apply its diverse agile experience to support the immigration experience for both the adjudicators and applicants.
The task order contains six base months and two six-month options and was awarded through the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions II contract vehicle.
Reston, Virginia-based NCI provides information technology and professional services to U.S. defense, intelligence, health and civilian government agencies.
