MobileIron has received a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program authority-to-operate designation from the U.S. Postal Service for the company’s cloud-based enterprise mobility management platform.
The FedRAMP Agency ATO status recognizes that the MobileIron Cloud platform has met security standard requirements in the program’s federal risk management process, the company said Monday.
“MobileIron has helped government agencies secure their mobile deployments and we continue to demonstrate our commitment to our government customers by achieving this critical government authorization,†said Barry Mainz, president and CEO of MobileIron.
The Defense Information Systems Agency also granted Security Technical Implementation Guide approval to the company in August.
MobileIron added it previously received Common Criteria Certification for Mobile Device Management Protection Profile V2 from the National Security Agency-managed National Information Assurance Partnership.
The company designed its platform to help organizations manage mobile devices, secure data and deliver applications and content.
