Microsoft‘s Azure Government Engineering unit has released a new platform for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program High Baseline system that will serve as a guide to receive authority-to-operate designations.
A blog post published Tuesday says the Azure Blueprint is now available on the FedRAMP High Baseline system and will work to help facilitate the use of Azure Government for customers.
The company unveiled Azure Blueprint in October to assist government agencies and third-party providers on compliance with regulations as well as aid information system security officers on defining responsibilities for security controls in a cloud ecosystem.
Molesky noted that the release covers documentation including the FedRAMP High Baseline Customer Responsibility Matrix and System Security Plan templates for Azure customers to guide with the documentation of security control implementations as part of the ATO processes.
