CACI International has received an award from SmartCEO in recognition of the company’s contributions to the government contracting sector through its mentoring, business partnerships, philanthropy and advocacy efforts.
The company said Wednesday it accepted the GovStar Industry Star award in the large category at a ceremony held Nov. 21.
SmartCEO recognizes contracting firms in the greater Washington, D.C., area based on criteria such as technology innovation, workplace environment, growth, veteran support and impact on the industry.
Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, said the company has supported federal government clients since its inception in 1962.
SmartCEO also recognized American Cyber, CACI’s protege company in the Defense Department‘s Mentor-Protege Program, with the GovStar Star Performer award in the emerging company category and the Protege of the Year award.
