A joint venture of Versar and Johnson Controls‘ federal systems subsidiary has received a $15.5 million contract to repair and renovate the three-story Building 1108 at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.
Versar said Wednesday its engineering construction management group will perform design, permitting, renovation and construction services under the contract.
Work also includes commissioning of an administrative building that will feature office space, classrooms and conference rooms.
The 76,658-square-foot B1108 is located within the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratory Historic District of Hanscom AFB and will accommodate the Defense Contract Management Agency once renovations are complete.
