Trustwave has obtained Certificates of Networthiness from the U.S. Army for the company’s database security platforms that work to secure and automate data collection.
The company said Monday its Trustwave DbProtect and AppDetective Pro can now be used in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure to help automate the collection and evaluation of database ecosystem information.
AppDetective Pro is designed to provide database security and aid auditing and assessment engagements, while the DbProtect works to deliver real-time automated database security, risk and compliance.
Bill Rucker, president of Trustwave’s government solutions unit, said the company built its database security software to support the country’s armed forces and other government agencies in efforts to secure and privatize their data.
The programs aim to proactively tackle vulnerabilities, maintain policy compliance and provide compensating controls for issues that cannot be addressed immediately.
