Markov Processes International has been chosen by the Securities and Exchange Commission to supply a research and reporting platform to aid in SEC’s mutual funds surveillance and investor protection efforts.
SEC will implement the Stylus Pro software that MPI developed in response to global interest on asset management regulators for data-driven technology systems that update legacy systems through the application of quantitative analytics, the company said Wednesday.
“We are honored to provide our tools to the SEC for the quantitative analysis of funds in support of their mission,” said MPI co-founder and CEOÂ Michael Markov.
Stylus Pro is designed to support research, analysis, consulting, performance measurement and risk management processes as well as product development, marketing and sales, reporting, publishing and distribution tasks.
Markov Processes International offers adviser software, data, hedge fund and analysis software, institutional software and professional services to various clients such as research analysts, risk management specialists and registered investment advisers.
