SAP has partnered with UXC Oxygen to develop a citizen engagement platform designed to help government customers deliver citizen services.
The citizen engagement offering builds on SAP’s efforts to provide industry-specific accelerators through SAP Hybris’ commerce platform, the company said Tuesday.
“The digital economy has impacted the way consumers engage with brands, and the same applies for interacting with government agencies,” said Matthias Goehler, SAP Hybris senior vice president of industry solutions.
The citizen engagement accelerator for SAP Hybris is designed to provide a single user interface to aid document handling, requests, payments, permits and registrations for civic services, social services, grantor requests and tax and revenue management, SAP added.
The new platform also offers prebuilt features and templates to help government organizations implement citizen engagement projects, SAP noted.
SAP Hybris serves as brand name that represents SAP’s customer engagement and commerce platforms as well as the products, employees and business of software company hybris AG that SAP has acquired.
