Rockwell Collins Marks 40K ARC-210 Radio Deliveries to US Military; Candace Chesser Comments

Rockwell Collins has delivered its 40,000th software-based ARC-210 radio to the U.S. military and celebrated this milestone during a ceremony at the company’s Cedar Rapids, Iowa headquarters.

The ARC-210 is designed to support joint precision approach and landing system data link, satellite communications integrated waveform and combat net radio systems, Rockwell Collins said Friday.

“The delivery of the 40,000th radio continues a 25-year relationship between Rockwell Collins and the U.S. Navy on the ARC-210 program,” said Candace Chesser, program manager for air combat electronics at the Naval Air Systems Command.

Navy Capt. Christopher McDowell, PMA-209 principal deputy program manager, joined Chesser and other Rockwell Collins executives and employees at the event.

Chesser noted that the radio system is designed to help “joint and coalition forces communicate in various theaters of operations worldwide.”
