ParsonsParsons held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to mark the opening of its new 14,000-square-foot technology office in San Antonio, Texas, that will support  cybersecurity and intelligence efforts of the company’s government customers.

The company said Monday the office includes 2,600 square feet of project space designed to help address intelligence community security requirements.

The facility also has visualization conference and huddle rooms equipped with phone, video and virtual reality tools that allow Parsons’ architecture, engineering and design teams to collaborate with international customers and partners.

Tom Roell, interim president of Parsons’ federal business group, said the company established the office to offer  services for current and potential San Antonio-based customers such as the U.S. Air Force’s 24th Air Force/Cyber Command, Life Cycle Management Center and Installation and Mission Support Center as well as the U.S. Army‘s Installation Management Command.

Suzanne Vautrinot, a Parsons board member, said the company seeks to support the operational cyber and intelligence missions of the Air Force, National Security Agency, FBI and military commands through the new facility.

The company previously supported various local building projects, including the construction of the San Antonio Military Medical Center and the Defense Department‘s Medical Education and Training Campus.
