Klas Telecom Government has appointed Lawrence Brock, a retired U.S. Army major general and former commanding general of the 311th Signal Command, to the board of directors for the company’s U.S. government and defense business.
Dave Huisenga, Klas Telecom Government president and CEO, said Tuesday Brock will help the company formulate its strategy to deliver new communications equipment to warfighters and operators.
Brock has served in the military for more than three decades and his service career includes roles such as platoon leader, company commander, systems engineer officer, telecommunications signal officer, director of communications and Army Pacific deputy chief of staff.
He was responsible for the critical communication, network and information services across an entire region and its joint coalitions as commander of three different theater signal commands.
Brock was also a commanding general of the 359th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade, 335th Signal Command Forward and 335th Signal Command, as well as director of communications at the Combined Forces Command-Afghanistan headquarters, deputy chief of staff at the Army Central and director of signal integration at ARCENT Coordination and Support Element-Afghanistan.
