Infor has partnered with Drone Aviation to develop an unmanned aerial system-based enterprise platform designed to help public and private sector customers manage assets.
The Drone Enterprise Asset Management Solution integrates Drone Aviation’s tethered drone technologies with Infor’s enterprise asset management system for organizations to inspect buildings, power stations, railways and other assets, Drone Aviation said Tuesday.
Drone Aviation’s tethered drones are equipped with a stable thermal system to display smaller details of an object captured by built-in imaging cameras.
Wayne Bobby, vice president of Infor’s federal business, said the companies developed DEAMS to help customers “take an automated approach to asset maintenance and reallocate personnel to perform other essential tasks.â€
The system works to process the collected data from the drone’s sensors with the use of Infor’s ION middleware before information is integrated with Infor’s enterprise asset management, maintenance, repair and overhaul applications.
