CSRA has received a three-year, $45 million contract from the Customs and Border Protection to provide advice on equipment options and deployment methods that could help CBP personnel detect and prevent illegal travel and trade activities.
Falls Church, Virginia-based CSRA said Monday it will help CBP’s systems engineering, logistics and sustainment, capabilities and requirements divisions to determine towers, camera sensors and radar systems essential for border security threat detection and classification efforts.
“Proper border control and management is critical in protecting our nation against dangerous people and materials that could potentially harm our citizens,” said Sally Sullivan, executive vice president of CSRA’s homeland security group.
CSRA will also help CBP establish requirements as well as procure and field equipment under the contract.
