Carahsoft and LexisNexis have entered an agreement to offer the latter company’s legal software products to the federal government through Carahsoft’s positions on the General Services Administration‘s Schedule 70 and NASA‘s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract vehicles.
The partnership seeks to increase public sector demand for LexisNexis’ business of law software portfolio designed to support case analysis, presentation, legal and eDiscovery management processes, Carahsoft said Thursday.
“Government agencies continue to be asked to do more with less, and public sector legal teams are no exception,” said Michael Shrader, vice president of innovative and intelligence solutions at Carahsoft.
Carahsoft noted LexisNexis works with government agencies to address challenges related to data management, Freedom of Information Act, public records requests and open data initiatives.
LexisNexis’ offerings include LexisNexis Time Matters, Lexis DiscoveryIQ, Concordance Desktop, Early Data Analyzer, LAW PreDiscovery and CaseMap.
The companies also collaborate on industry education projects, including a webinar that aims to guide state and local government officials through compliance challenges associated with digital document workflow.
