CA-technologies-logo EbizCA Technologies has introduced new offerings for behavior analytics and identity and access management applications in an effort to help clients detect threats and avoid a breach.

The CA Threat Analytics tool is a machine learning-based threat detection and breach prevention system designed to integrate with CA’s Privileged Access Manager, the company said Nov. 16.

CA Threat Analytics is designed to model privileged user behavior and examine security risks based on user location, time and duration of activity, data access activities and the user’s track record before the system starts to record a session, initiates the authentication procedure and alert security operations.

The company also released its CA Identity Service platform for both on-premise and cloud-based environments.

The identity management offering seeks to help enterprise users  adopt cloud applications and services on top of their on-premises applications.

“By applying CA’s unmatched self-learning behavior analytics to privileged user activity, CA can help CISOs with their biggest challenge: staying one step ahead of the bad actors,” said Mordecai Rosen, senior vice president and general manager of CA’s security business.

“Going beyond protection, CA is extending secure business operations with CA Identity Service to support deeply embedded on-premises systems while taking advantage of the agility of cloud applications and services,” Rosen added.
