A Kratos Defense and Security Solutions subsidiary has been selected to supply the company’s Telemetrix 400 range receiver to the U.S. Army as part of the military branch’s effort to update its telemetry program.
RT Logic’s range receiver incorporates a digital intermediate frequency ingest that the Army will use to modernize an unnamed test site, Kratos said Thursday.
The modular T400 firmware-defined receiver has been developed for both flight test and launch ranges and the unit’s 2U configuration incorporates up to eight field-programmable gate array-based receivers.
T400 supports the entire range of old and current Advanced Range Telemetry waveforms.
The is designed to process streams at rates of 40 Megabytes per second for all ARTM modes.
