Andy Zimmerman, former president of industrial design firm Frog Design, has joined Sutherland Global Services as president of the company’s digital business.
He will oversee Sutherland Digital’s telecommunications and technology business units and help clients plan and implement their digital process transformation efforts following the realignment of the business’ design experience with big data analytics, consulting and delivery platform services, Sutherland said Monday.
“We will consult clients about their approaches and alternatives for omni-channel delivery so they have a better understanding of their customers’ needs, as well as new products and services that help reach their business goals,†said Dilip Vellodi, Sutherland chairman and CEO.
“Our focus on digital, with Andy’s leadership, will allow customers to grow their greatest assets – their relationships with their customers,†Vellodi added.
Zimmerman’s appointment comes a month after Sutherland purchased big data analytics firm Nuevora.
Prior to Frog Design, Zimmerman spent eight years at Accenture where he served as global managing director of mobility and new businesses.
He also served as CEO of Predictive Systems, managing director and chief operating officer of New York-based incubator Idealab, and global managing partner at PwC.
