Alfresco Software has been added to Amazon Web Services‘ new Public Sector Partner Program in a move to develop and advance the former’s government sector business with AWS.
The San Mateo, California-based open source technology contractor said Tuesday it was selected as a partner for its efforts to bolster its open source offerings for federal, education and non-profit clients such as NASA‘s Langley Research Center and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Austin Adams, vice president of Alfresco’s public sector business, said the partnership builds on the company’s work to address government challenges through its open source technology, which utilizes AWS offerings.
AWS launched the Public Sector Partner Program during the AWS Re-invent event in Las Vegas to replace the company’s Government Partner Program.
