Rocky Brands will manufacture hot-weather combat boots for U.S. military personnel under an order worth between $80 million to $100 million over a five-year period.
The company said Thursday it will begin to fulfill the order in the first half of 2017.
The contract has one base year and four option years and sets a maximum value of $20 million for product shipments per year.
Rocky Brands added it currently produces military boots designed for both hot and temperate weather conditions under two previously awarded contracts.
The company markets footwear and apparel under the Rocky, Georgia Boot, Durango, Lehigh, Creative Recreation and Michelin brands.
