Rockwell Collins has received a five-year contract of an undisclosed value to repair the primary flight and mission display units on the U.S. Army‘s fleet of UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters.
The company said Wednesday it will fix and provide service bulletins for all Black Hawks MFD-268C4 displays used by the U.S. Army as well as foreign military customers.
Work under the firm-fixed-price contract will occur at Rockwell’s Atlanta Service Center through 2020.
The MFD-268C4 display is based on the open system architecture of the company-made Flight2 avionics system and designed with graphic engines, safety critical processing tools, active-matrix liquid-crystal display technology and multiple video interfaces.
Lockheed Martin subsidiary Sikorsky manufactures the UH-60 aircraft.
