Raytheon logo_EbizRaytheon has joined the Estonian Defense Industry Association as the trade organization’s sixth international member during an EDIA breakfast roundtable.

Estonian Defense Minister Hannes Hanso and John Harris, CEO of Raytheon International, attended the roundtable to discuss transatlantic security cooperation and industry collaboration issues, Raytheon said Tuesday.

The agreement comes nearly a year-and-a-half after Raytheon and Estonia’s government forged an agreement in 2015 to explore opportunities to collaborate in cybersecurity.

“Today’s roundtable discussion with Minister Hanso and Estonia’s defense industry leaders speaks to dynamics that can grow and harness transatlantic partnerships,” said Harris.

“Raytheon’s EDIA membership will allow us to further our global relationships in Estonia and explore new opportunities to collaborate with Estonian companies,” he added.
