Orbital ATK to Provide US Allies Non-Standard Munitions Worth $126M

Orbital ATK has secured nearly $126 million in delivery orders from the U.S. government to manufacture a range of ammunition systems for the Defense Department‘s foreign allies.

The orders are for non-U.S. standard munitions and fall under a pair of previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity and basic ordering agreement contracts, Orbital ATK said Monday.

The company currently operates a U.S. Army-owned ammunition plant in Independence, Missouri, where it also  produces small caliber ammo for DoD clients.

Orbital ATK has supported the Army’s NSA program since 2008.
