Former Colorado Bureau of Investigation Director Ronald Sloan and Robert Fahlman, a 35-year veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, have joined the advisory council at crime analytics firm Wynyard.
Both Sloan and Fahlman will bring their investigative and criminal intelligence experiences as well as provide insight on the needs of law enforcement agencies to the company, Wynyard said Thursday.
Sloan previously led the Colorado Bureau of Investigation from 2008 to 2015 and served as police chief for the city of Arvada in Colorado from 1994 to 2007.
He has also voluntarily served as president of the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies.
Fahlman most recently held the role of director general at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police with responsibility for the agency’s professional standards and training, intelligence policy, research and development and partnership initiatives.
He received a Canada 125 Medal from the Canadian government in recognition of his service and was named an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces in his home country in 2011.
