Rockwell Collins has introduced a service offering intended to help organizations establish onsite or hosted Cyber Security Operations Centers to protect their critical assets from security threats.
The company said Tuesday it will work to design and build CSOC platforms with commercial off-the-shelf technologies for clients that aim to expand their internal security efforts.
Rockwell Collins also offers hosted cybersecurity systems designed to monitor, counter and warn customers of cyber threats through the firm’s 24/7/365 operations center.
Jeffrey Johnson, staff vice president of Rockwell Collins’ surface transportation and critical infrastructure business, said the company seeks to help airport, nuclear power plant and railroad operators address network monitoring requirements.
The company noted it currently supports physical security efforts in nearly 70 percent of U.S. nuclear power plants.
