In-Q-Tel has invested in unstructured data analysis company Brainspace in a move to help address the operational needs of the U.S. intelligence community through machine learning technology.
Brainspace said Tuesday the strategic partnership with IQT seeks to demonstrate the former’s machine learning and data analytics tools for digital investigations.
“Throughout the intelligence community there is a huge challenge and untapped value in being able to surface insights, answers, and threats in unstructured data,” said Brainspace CEOÂ Dave Copps.
Copps added Brainspace aims to address this challenge with augmented intelligence platforms and IQT’s investment supports the company’s mission.
Brainspace offers a combination of machine learning technology and interactive data visualization to support digital investigations.
IQT is a nonprofit strategic investment company that supports the development of technologies to help the U.S. intelligence community to meet mission needs.
