IAP Worldwide Services has landed a potential $53 million contract to help the U.S. Army implement a ground intelligence system at Fort Hood in Texas and other military facilities worldwide.
IAP said Monday it will provide integrated logistics, fielding and training services for the Distributed Common Ground System-Army under the contract awarded through the military branch’s Rapid Response Third Generation vehicle.
Work also covers hardware systems engineering, data processing, networking, training and warehouse operations support.
Brandon Pugsley, director of IAP’s information technology and intelligence program, said the company aims to support the Army intelligence community mission.
DCGS-A is designed to serve as the branch’s primary system to process, manage and disseminate intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance data on operational environments, weather and terrain.
