Harris has launched a new night vision binocular the company designed to boost warfighters’ capacity to perform missions at night or under low-light conditions.
The F5032Â night vision goggle consists of fixed and adjustable diopter lenses that will work to help military users adjust lenses to minimize eye fatigue during a mission, Harris said Wednesday.
Erik Fox, vice president and general manager of Harris’ night vision business, said the company released the lightweight device at a time when warfighters seek to address size, weight, power and ease of use concerns.
The binocular is equipped with an infrared illuminator for soldiers to conduct operations in low- and no-light combat scenarios, the company added.
