DataVisor has named Mike Flouton, former product marketing vice president at BAE Systems, as its new marketing VP to lead the company’s brand messaging and demand generation initiatives.
DataVisor said Wednesday he will be responsible for efforts to promote the company, its story and its products, and fill sales pipelines to support the company’s expansion into the social, gaming and financial crime markets.
Yinglian Xie, DataVisor CEO and co-founder, said Flouton’s expertise and track record will support the company’s growth efforts as it continues to provide technical offerings and analytics to its customers.
Flouton has worked in the security and risk management industry for more than 15 years and has held several leadership roles such as vice president at SilverSky, where he oversaw the rebranding and marketing turnaround of the company before its acquisition by BAE.
He managed the product marketing of several of BAE’s commercial business units and led the company’s cybersecurity and financial crime product lines in his previous role.
DataVisor provides big data analytics-based fraud detection offerings to support clients to detect and prevent fraud and attack campaigns before they damage consumer-facing online services.
