CSG to Assess New Mexico’s Medicaid Info System Replacement Project

The New Mexico Human Services Department has chosen CSG Government Solutions to provide independent verification and validation services for the state’s Medicaid Management Information System replacement project.

CSG said Thursday it will conduct proactive IV&V assessments of HSD’s MMIS planning, procurement development, vendor integration, risks, technology design, development and implementation quality throughout the project life cycle.

“The State’s MMIS replacement solution is intended to provide an interoperable framework for exchanging information across the broader New Mexico Health and Human Services enterprise,” says Robin Dufresne, director of CSG’s healthcare and human services practice.

The company added it provides IV&V services in accordance with project requirements established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the New Mexico Department of Information Technology.
