CloudPassage has secured a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Ready status under the first of a three-phase process that cloud service providers go through to receive an authorization to operate.
CloudPassage said Wednesday it used the company’s Halo software-as-a-service platform to gain the designation through the FedRAMP Accelerated process.
Halo is included on the FedRAMP marketplace for federal agencies and government contractors, the company noted.
“In order to meet FedRAMP Ready status, we were assessed for critical controls such as the use of approved cryptographic modules; continuous monitoring capabilities; authentication, authorization and access controls; and configuration and risk management,” said Bart Westerink, CloudPassage senior director of security and compliance.
