BillÂ Miller, formerÂ senior vice president and chiefÂ information officer at Broadcom, has joined NetAppÂ in the same role of CIO and will be responsible for both the company’s information technologyÂ organization and ongoing transformation initiatives.
NetApp said Wednesday Miller will manageÂ the NetApp on NetApp and Customer-1 programs that aim to help the company’sÂ engineering and field organizations update and demonstrate technology platforms.
He will also support customers in efforts to driveÂ data management services across their IT environments through data silo integration, process automation and barrier removal.
As CIOÂ at Broadcom, Miller led that company’s work to apply cloud computing applications in its enterpriseÂ and collaborations with partners.
He is also a former CIO at Harris Corp. andÂ established Sabal Systems, a consulting firm focused on cybersecurity, IT industryÂ product positions, billing and recovery systems.
At Harris, he focused on IT service deliveries to 20,000 computing clients worldwide in the government and commercial sectors.
He contributes executiveÂ boardsÂ at theÂ University of Central Florida,Â Information Systems Associates at University of California Los Angeles,Â University of California Irvineâ€™s Center for Digital Transformation and the Information Management Forum.
