Booz Allen Hamilton and Phantom have forged a strategic alliance that seeks to combine the former’s cyber intelligence expertise with the latter’s security automation and orchestration technology in a push to help increase the resilience of enterprise systems against threats.
The partnership aims offer a portfolio of automation and orchestration platforms to support incident response and threat defense operations of commercial and government customers, Booz Allen said Monday.
“Organizations are faced with an increased volume and sophistication of cyber threats putting significant pressure on cyber security professionals,†said Angela Messer, Booz Allen executive vice president and cyber innovation business lead.
Phantom founder and CEO Oliver Friedrichs said knowing how to respond to an attack and consistent automation of that plan through playbooks will help organizations keep pace with the changing threat environment.
The companies will work to develop new products and services intended to help organizations automate the process to detect, investigate and remediate threats, Booz Allen noted.
Booz Allen added it aims to craft playbooks that will incorporate cyber threat intelligence, incident response and security operations practices for Phantom technology users.
