BAE Systems’ U.S. arm has received a potential 14-month, $8.1 million contract option to supply additional data loads to the U.S. Air Force in support of the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages program.
The exercised option on a previously awarded contract also covers maintenance support for previous data loads, as well as determination of lifecycle procurement, identified items status and bill of material of program managed systems, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
BAE will perform work in Rockville, Maryland, through Dec. 18, 2017, according to DoD.
