Aviation Systems Engineering Co. has secured a potential six-year, $35.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy for technical, analytical, administrative and material support services to the military branch’s Air Test and Evaluation Squadron One.
The Defense Department said Tuesday the service branch will obligate $635,299 in fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation, operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
ASEC won the contract through a competitive acquisition that received two bids and will perform work in Patuxent River, Maryland through October 2021.
DoD noted that the contract contains terms and conditions for the placement of cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price task orders.
Lexington Park, Maryland-based ASEC provides systems development and delivery services to support engineering requirements for international flight training programs of government customers.
