Mike Franz, former business development director at SOS International, has been promoted as the company’s vice president for business development.
SOSi said Thursday Franz will succeed former business development VP Jim Edwards, who has recently joined the U.S. government following four years with the company.
“As the deputy of our business development organization, [Franz] consistently helped lead our team to several important contract wins,” said Julian Setian, SOSi president and CEO.
Franz has held various leadership roles at Leidos and Science Applications International Corp., where he served as a division manager and deputy division manager, respectively.
He holds a business administration and management degree from Bryant College.
