Security Magazine has unveiled its list of the 19 Most Influential People in Security for 2016 in an article published Sept. 1.
Diane Ritchey writes colleagues and associates nominated the top security leaders based on leadership qualities and the impact of their security projects and programs on shareholders, their organizations, their peers, the public and the overall security landscape.
The 19 leaders include Timothy Murphy, president of Thomson Reuters Special Services; Alfred Grasso, Mitre president and CEO; and Chris Rackow, Google vice president of global security.
Murphy previously worked at FBIÂ where he held roles such as deputy director, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of the bureau and special agent in charge of the Cincinnati field office.
Grasso oversees Mitre’s overall strategic and business operations for the federally funded research and development centers that the nonprofit company manages.
Rackow previously served as a senior vice president and chief resilience officer at AECOM and as security VP at ABB Inc.
