TheĂ‚Â National Gallery of ArtĂ‚Â in Washington, D.C., has issued a request for information on potential industry sources toĂ‚Â support the museum’s information systems securityĂ‚Â programs.
A sources sought notice posted Sept. 20 on FedBizOpps stated the looks to contract with an IT security company to develop, manage and implement security controls across the facility as well as create a toolset or an environment to automate the security process.
Interested parties can submit responses to the RFI through Oct. 14.
Congress established the National Gallery of Art to preserve, collect and exhibit pieces of art that comply with museum and scholarly standards.
The museum’sĂ‚Â information systems security officer hasĂ‚Â developed an Information Security Continuous Monitoring program based onĂ‚Â guidelines set forthĂ‚Â by theĂ‚Â Office of Management and BudgetĂ‚Â and theĂ‚Â National Institute of Standards and Technology.
According to the notice,Ă‚Â the gallery uses several technology platformsĂ‚Â to monitor and maintain itsĂ‚Â operating environment suchĂ‚Â Tenable‘sĂ‚Â Security Center and Nessus, FireEyeĂ‚Â appliances, HP‘sĂ‚Â WebInspect,Ă‚Â McAfee AntivirusĂ‚Â andĂ‚Â CyberArk Privileged Account Security.
