MobileGuard‘s mobile communications compliance products have been added to immixGroup‘s offerings to the federal sector under the General Services Administration‘s Information Technology Schedule 70 and NASA‘s Solution for Enterprise-Wide Procurement contract vehicle.
MobileGuard said Tuesday its platforms will work to help customer agencies capture, monitor, archive and analyze text and SMS communications across all mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
The company designed its products to also help organizations comply with text messaging regulations and gain visibility into mobile device communications among employees.
“Text messaging has emerged as a critical form of communication within the federal government, and as its ubiquity and importance continues to grow, so must the ability of agencies to log and audit these communications in order to comply with necessary regulations,” said MobileGuard CEO Todd Michael Cohan.
MobileGuard offers FIPS 140-2 compliant cloud-hosted and on-premise deployment options and the company’s product line includes NetGuard, SecureChat and MessageGuard.
NetGuard is designed to facilitate text message archiving without on-device applications and is currently available on devices from AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
SecureChat is an iOS application that works to provide a virtual number, app-to-app messaging as well as phone calls and text messaging with any phone number.
The MessageGuard app is designed for Android and Blackberry devices and offers users access to native text messaging tools and archive text messages, call logs and GPS data.
