In-Q-Tel has entered into a strategic investment and technology development agreement with Zoomdata as the companies seek to help address the intelligence community’s big data management requirements with the latter’s visual analytics platform.
The agreement comes a month after Zoomdata began to offer its technology to the IC via an Amazon Web Services-hosted marketplace of software products and developers tools designed for intelligence agencies, IQT said Thursday.
Justin Langseth, Zoomdata CEO, said the partnership with IQT seeks to help IC customers test, build and implement new technologies that utilize Zoomdata’s cloud-based big data visual analytics platform without the need for individual contracts.
The platform is also available for purchase by government agencies through AWS’ GovCloud, NASA‘s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement contract vehicle and Zoomdata’s partnerships with Deloitte, Northrop Grumman and Unisys.
Zoomdata has raised $25 million during a recent series C funding round led by Goldman Sachs.
