GeoComm will continue to offer geographic information and communication systems to federal, state and local agencies following an extension to the company’s General Services Administration’s Information Technology Schedule contract.
GeoComm was awarded a spot on the IT Schedule in September 2006 and the agency extended its contract with the public-safety technology vendor through Aug. 31, 2021, the company said Tuesday.
Government clients are able to order turnkey emergency 9-1-1 development services from the company through the governmentwide IT procurement vehicle.
“This contract has many benefits for our customers, some of which include: shorter lead times and lower administrative costs,†said Jody Sayre, vice president of sales and marketing at GeoComm.
“As a result of these benefits we can help jurisdictions quickly receive what they need for an effective 9-1-1 system,†added Sayre.
