Robert Schmidle Jr., retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant general and former U.S. Cyber Command deputy commander, has joined Endgame‘s advisory board.
Endgame said Thursday Schmidle has years of experience through his service with the Marine Corps and the Defense Department, where he was principal deputy director of cost assessment and program evaluation at the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
“Lt. Gen. Schmidle’s strategic vision and experience working in the most sophisticated cyber operations at the [DoD]Â make him an invaluable addition to the Endgame advisory board,” said Endgame CEO Nate Fick.
He added Schmidle’s guidance will help address customers’ security challenges in support of Endgame’s efforts toward its next growth phase.
Schmidle, the first-ever Cybercom deputy commander, has also served as deputy commandant for aviation at DoD and earned a doctorate from Georgetown University.
