Cloudera has been recognized in Forbes and Bessemer Venture Partners‘ 2016 top 100 list of private cloud companies that lead the cloud technology revolution as well as the rising stars in the field.
Cloudera said Wednesday it has ranked 5th on the Forbes Cloud 100 list due to the company’s revenue growth and its Apache Hadoop-based data management and analytics platform for hybrid cloud environments.
“The Forbes Cloud 100 companies represent the very best private companies in cloud computing … We will see big IPOs and category killers emerge from this list as cloud computing continues to propel the trillion-dollar software industry,” said Byron Deeter, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners.
The Forbes 2016 Cloud 100 companies were selected by a panel of judges that represent public cloud companies using qualitative and quantitative data collected from nominees and publicly available third-part data sources.
