EmeSec has unveiled a new suite of training services established to help companies prepare for the compliance requirements of the Federal Acquisition Requirements and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations related to controlled but unclassified information.
The company said Wednesday it will help government and private contractors assess CUI readiness, validate compliance to requirements mentioned on a National Institute of Standards and Technology special publication as well as evaluate and establish compliance to the new standard.
The training and education package will offer customers a “do-it-yourself” option designed to offset costs of CUI compliance and help clients utilize their existing resources to evaluate CUI requirements and gaps, EmeSec noted.
“With this new training and education toolkit, we are presenting companies the industry-first option to start their baseline compliance evaluation without hefty consulting fees,†said Maria Horton, EmeSec CEO.
“The DIY approach provides a reasonable roadmap with supplemental resources to support customers’ existing in-house IT or security programs to meet the requirements before December 2017 deadline.”
